Hoof & Heart of Southern Michigan is dedicated to helping discarded, unwanted horses (such as those at auctions, kill pens, and owner surrenders) find loving homes with families who are just the right match for them.

We are so grateful for our cadre of supporters, volunteers, fosters, and adopters. Adoptions are one of the primary goals of our rescue and they are particularly special as they free up spaces for new residents to be saved from neglect or slaughter.   Thank you for your help in accomplishing our mission.
